The founders
MATEC (Machinery Technology) was born in 2003 from the idea of the two founders, Matteo Goich and Massimo Bertolucci. Its aim is to provide a range of more reliable and modern products, in order to fulfill customers’ increasing demand.
Matteo Goich and Massimo Bertolucci can guarantee clients great experience in the field. Because it is something they have gained since 1997, when they started in a filter press installation company as commercial and technical managers, respectively.
The two partners have decades-old experience in the purification industry and they are a continued presence in the company. Over the years, they have gained experience in corporate management leading the companies they have worked in or founded towards a continuous growth. Turnover and profitability increase have always characterized their management. That is why MATEC can guarantee the best technical and commercial advice ever.
In late 2017 Matteo Goich and Massimo Bertolucci met with Edoardo Sommacal and together they have decided to open a new division Matec Pacific, part of Matec Group and dedicated to serve the Asia Pacific Market.
Matteo Goich
Has always worked as Manager and Commercial Director in various companies. He has been immediately able to identify customer’s needs and compete in sales starting from basics since his first experience as a Salesman,
He has been successful in creating and developing commercial networks, entrusting products to a selected and qualified staff.
He also attended Masters and training courses in sales. Increasing his professional curriculum and updating his sales techniques which represent the core of his work to meet market’s latest need is his must.
He has organized and participated to international events in fields such as marble, granite, ceramics, mining, aggregates and environment since 1997. Traveling across the world he has gained knowledge of various sectors’ international markets, developing important partnerships with both collaborators and global companies.
Massimo Bertolucci
After working in the engine department of Piaggio in Pontedera where he experienced working in an industrial excellence, began his hands-on training in the sector of technical systems.
At first, he started as a Mechanic, then he was promoted Head of Technical Assistance, and finally Technical and Design Director.
He has created and established companies over the years. Especially he takes care of each and every aspect of production and spare part departments, but he also focuses his work on the creation of just in time technical assistance services. He has selected and trained many skilled technicians who have always been chosen for expertise.
He attended training and management courses dedicated to technical areas. Since 2003, MATEC foundation year, he has also developed skills and competences in design and engineering of turnkey systems, coordinating MATEC design center which consists of 6 engineers. He has successfully carried out projects up to 5 million euros.
Edoardo Sommacal
Has 12+ years experience as Executive Manager within a range of Australian and Internationals firms across various industry markets including Renewable Energy, Construction, Mining, Oil & Gas, Water and Waste Water treatment.
He managed projects for private and ASX-listed companies up to $200m overseeing the business development in new emerging markets including Europe, South America and Asia Pacific with a gross pipeline in excess of $50m.
Mr. Sommacal holds a Master of Science in Engineering (Mechanical), a Master in Yacht Design (Marine) and Project Management, he is Member of Engineers Australia, Member of Australian Water Association and Board Member of Australian Italian Chamber of Commerce in Perth.
